This was the only usb c hub I could find on the internet with a long cord. Anyone with a MacBook Air has only usb c input and would need a hub to hook up to peripherals. I do not need said hub to be 4 inches from my laptop and this solves that problem. In my case I wanted the hub under my desk. I had my prior hub with a USB c extension cable but it would not work properly and this solves my problems. This hub is hooked up to a monitor via HDMI and has webcam, printer and mouse via USB input. The USB c port is used for power input and everything works great. Laptop to desktop setup with one cord. Obviously, I am happy with this purchase.

It is true plug and play, no issues. I don't need to download any drivers, the cable is sturdy but flexible and can be bent as much as I want. I've been using it for almost 2 weeks and everything works, hopefully it will last.

It is difficult to find a long cable USB C hub. Finally, I found an adapter with a long cable here in lention.I can secured it to the underside of my desk with the other cables.So my desk setup can be more clean.

Never Too Old To Learn
When my old desktop died, I bought the new Surface Go. I am using it for everything. The problem with being so thin and light is, it doesn't have ANY usb ports. It has ONE usb-c port, and an earphone jack. So, by now I have purchased four different usb-c to usb-a adapters, but they didn't do what I really needed. This Lention usb adapter is finally exactly what I need!!! I need an hdmi spot to plug in my large screen monitor, and I need the 4 usb-a spots. I connect my printer, my mouse transmitter, my external hard drive back up, and now have space for a flash drive. This Lention adapter sort of "snaps" in; it is somewhat difficult to push in, but when it is in, it really stays in! It is small, and so doesn't take up a lot of room. I plug in my speakers to the earphone jack, and everything else into the one little usb-c port. Then, when I go somewhere, I just take the Surface Go and the Lention adapter, and the hdmi cord. I can project information on any tv with an hdmi spot. This is the adapter that does what you need. It is highly recommended.
